Club Bowling off to a Well Attended Start to the Season

Club bowling play is well underway despite some wet and cold weather.  Summer is coming though !!!

Club points sessions have seen strong attendance for mixed drop in play on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings.

The Ladies are enjoying their drop in play on Tuesday evenings.

Tuesday mornings has also seen a great group of bowlers coming out for some different variations of lawn bowls.  Continuing in popularity from last year are games of 4-3-2-1.  This is a great game to improve individual skill in a fun atmosphere.

Haven't been out yet?  Don't wait.  Come and join the fun and friendship.

Brampton Hosting OLBA District 9 Men's and Women's Fours Playdowns May 27 and 28, 2027

Good Luck to All Competitors this weekend in the Ontario Lawn Bowls Association District 9 Playdowns for Men's and Women's Fours Competitions.

Great Bowling Well Underway. Have Some Fun on the Greens !!

A very special welcome is extended to all of our new members this year.  We are delighted to have your good company in our Club and look forward to a great season.

Victoria Day weekend saw lots of good bowling both on Saturday in the Club's opening mixed event as well as on Monday for our annual mixed drop in to celebrate the Queen's birthday.  Sorry if you missed the fun.

Watch the bulletin board at the Club for news and sign ups for the next exciting upcoming events.  The President's Trophy on Saturday June 17th is open to all new and returning members and is always a great day of bowling and prize money.  Monday evening June 19th is our annual mixed drop in bowling and fabulous Strawberry Social afterwards.  Both are not to be missed events.

We appreciate the patience of all members while the City of Brampton is working hard on correcting the issues with the lighting and carpeting on the greens.

Teams will be drawn for those who have signed up in advance.

Opening Mixed Drop In
Now scheduled for Saturday May 20th at 10:00 am
Be there by 9:45 am for teams to be drawn.
FREE LUNCH
Two 10 end games.  $5.00 cost for prizes to be won that day.

Victoria Day Mixed Drop In
Monday May 22nd at 10:00 am
Be there by 9:45 am for teams to be drawn.
Bring your own lunch

WE ARE BOWLING !!!! Wednesday May 17th Mixed Drop In 7:15 pm teams will be made up

We are pleased to announce that the electrical problems have been fixed by the City and the building has now reopened.   We have four greens available for play tonight.

We will run our usual Wednesday night program of Mixed Drop In starting with teams being made up at 7:15 pm

See you on the greens.   It looks like a fabulous evening.

Bowling to resume Wednesday evening hopefully

Notice to All Members

The City has informed us that they hope to have
the electrical problems at the lawn bowling facility
repaired on Wednesday during the day.

Thus we hope to resume bowling with our scheduled
Wednesday evening mixed drop in bowling at
7:30 pm.

Please check back for confirmation on Wednesday.

Update on lawn bowling facility closure

The latest news from the City indicates that the electrical problems should be fixed next Monday.

Thus we are planning to start all bowling schedules again on Tuesday morning May 16th.

Please check back for further updates on this schedule.

Our apologies again for this delay due to circumstances beyond our control.

We look forward to seeing you all on the greens very shortly.

Bowling temporarily suspended due to electrical malfunctions

Notice to All Members

Club activities are temporarily suspended as of May 10th while the City deals with unexpected electrical equipment malfunctions.

We will resume all scheduled bowling as soon as possible.  Check here for further details.
