Blessings of the season to you all and to your families.

We hope that everyone has been keeping well this Fall and we know that some of you have been enjoying the Short Mats bowling on Mondays at Century Gardens.

After being closed during the pandemic, it was wonderful to see so many of our members returning to bowling this past summer plus the exciting addition of many new members taking up our sport with great enthusiasm.

Our Club is looking forward to welcoming you all back to our 2023 outdoor season in the Spring when we will continue to share in the fun, friendship and companionship that we all enjoy and value.  We will reach out to you in April with plans for our next season.

 The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club is delighted to announce the start of its Fall and Winter season of indoor Short Mat Lawn Bowling.  

All adults welcome.  No experience necessary.  Come and have some fun with us.

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club is absolutely delighted with the tremendous start to the 2022 season.  

Indeed it has been fun and games on our greens.

It has been wonderful to see so many of our returning members enjoying bowling again after our shutdowns during Covid.

Also the Club has a large contingent of new bowlers joining us this season.  Welcome to our new members and your enthusiasm has added much to the Club.

Not a member yet?  Do you feel like you are missing out on the fun, recreation, and friendship?

The good news is that there is still time to join.  New members are always welcome.  No experience is necessary and equipment is provided.  Don't delay.  Come and "Give it a Try"!

GREAT NEWS for all Brampton Lawn Bowlers

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club's greens will open for Club Members for the 2022 season starting on Monday May 9th.  Come out and be our first members to start rolling bowls and having lots of fun.

Practice space will be available as well as the Club's regular Mixed Drop In Games.

Weekly Game Schedule:

    (Please arrive 15 minutes before the game start time to allow for teams to be drawn)

Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm

Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 am

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club is preparing to open its 2022 outdoor bowling season in early May.

Final details will be available shortly.  

Stay tuned and we will all be enjoying bowling and friendship on our greens very soon.

Application forms will be sent out to all previous members.

New adult members are always welcome.  No experience or equipment necessary to get started having fun in this low cost activity.

Short Mat Lawn Bowling to Reopen Monday January 31, 2022 at Century Gardens

Great News !!!

The Brampton Lawn Bowling Club will be able to reopen our Short Mat indoor program this coming Monday January 31, 2022 at Century Gardens Recreation Centre at the usual 1:00 pm start time.

All adults are welcome to come and join the fun.  Club membership is not required.  

Please arrive about 15 minutes early in order to check in with the City at the door and also get registered with the Club for the day's session.

The same Covid protocols for play remain in place as prior to the shutdown.

To enter City of Brampton Recreation Centres, you will need to show for scanning your proof of vaccination QR code issued by the Ontario government.   Plus you will need photo ID.

UPDATE JAN. 29/22     City no longer requires contact tracing due to recent change in Provincial Covid requirements.         New at this time, the City now also requires you to provide a completed "Recreation Covid-19 Contact Tracing Form" each day that you come to the Centre.  You may fill this form out online each day before you arrive or there will be paper copies to fill out at the entrance.  Here is the link to the online form:Brampton Contact Tracing Form

Update on Indoor Short Mats Bowling in Brampton

Greetings Fellow Lawn Bowlers in Brampton

Happy New Year and Best Wishes for 2022.

We regret to confirm that, following the recent Provincial Government announcements, the City of Brampton has temporarily closed all recreation facilities.  Thus, the Brampton Lawn Bowling Club's Indoor Short Mats Bowling program at Century Gardens is not able to take place at present.

The Club certainly hopes to be able to resume this fun activity in the near future.  Currently the earliest restart date would be Monday January 31, 2022 but this is subject to changing Provincial and City protocols.  

Please check back on this Blog for further updates as information becomes available and a restart date becomes definite.
